You can find information relating to Local Land Charges, Registering Premises or Property and Land for sale or lease.

The section is responsible for:

  • Acquisition and disposal of Council land and property (both freehold and leasehold)

  • Asset Valuations of the Council's property portfolio

  • Co-ordination and preparation of the Council's Asset Management Plan in accordance with Government guidelines

  • Dealing with enquiries regarding the Council's land and property ownership

  • Energy management and maintenance of the Council's public buildings

  • Lettings and management of industrial premises across the Borough area

  • Lettings and management of the Eastwood Craft Workshops

  • Negotiation of agreements and consents involving Council land and property

  • Rating appeals of Council-occupied property


Land and Property Ownership

Private property

The Council does not keep records of land which is in private ownership. To ascertain ownership of private property, please click on the link to Land Registry within the offsite links section.

If the land is unregistered title, it is recommended that you contact Land Registry for further advice.

Council property

Premises

The Council owns and operates six industrial estates, multiple office sites and retail space across the Borough area. Details of these properties are given below. Please note that all floor areas stated are approximate.

Units 1-3, Beeston Business Hub, The Square, Beeston Town Centre

First Floor office spaces are now available above The Square shopping precinct, for start-ups and established businesses. Located in Beeston Town Centre neighbouring the Council's brand new phase 2 retail and leisure development; the offices are fully serviced with kitchen space and facilities, Wi-Fi and secluded outdoor terrace.

Suites 1-9, Stapleford Business Hub, 1 Toton Lane, Stapleford Town Centre

Both Ground and First Floor office spaces are now available within a newly refurbished character building, for start-ups and established businesses. Located in the heart of Stapleford Town Centre; the individual suites have kitchen space and facilities, dedicated off-road parking, intercom and coded access.

The Craft Workshops, 18-22 Mansfield Road and 36-39 Scargill Walk, Eastwood

Following the opening of the D.H Lawrence Birthplace Museum, the Council converted a range of nearby Victorian buildings into shops, studios, and workshops of varying sizes which are suitable for small craft and retail orientated businesses.

There are nineteen units in all, with fifteen units located on Mansfield Road and four units located on Scargill Walk. The Scargill Walk units were converted from a row of terraced houses and are Grade II listed buildings.
