Walk with an Expert: Blue Plaques – Chilwell and Beyond

Run by Beeston Civic Society for Heritage Open Days 2025. Stalwarts of the South Broxtowe Blue Plaque scheme, Peter Robinson and Alan Dance will take a new look at the influence and impact that featured individuals have had on our local communities. Start at Sid Standard’s plaque, Cycle Inn (Chilwell Road) and finish for (optional) refreshments at The Cadland Inn, Chilwell. You can join/depart anywhere along the way! Duration: Approximately 90 minutes Terrain: Easy (pavement), fully accessible Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
