The series examines three facets of one of the UK’s greatest but also most controversial writers, D.H. Lawrence.

The second episode in the series, on the theme of class, explores the important role that class played in Lawrence’s life and work.

Carolyn Melbourne, Museum and Collections Officer said: “It’s fantastic that there is still so much interest in Lawrence outside of the local area. It was a real honour to have such an interesting programme about his life recorded at our humble museum.”

The full series is available on demand on the BBC website.
