Beeston and District Design Awards 2025

Here’s your chance to show your support for a better and more vibrant Beeston. This year marks the fourth of our biennial Civic Design Awards which: ● Recognise and encourage better building and environmental improvements. ● Develop awareness of net zero in the population. ● Increase public interaction with Civic matters. ● Develop appreciation of the value of what is around us. ● Create a sense of belonging and ‘Pride in Place’. Beeston and District Civic Society manage the Design Awards which are open to organisations, companies and residents in Beeston, Attenborough, Bramcote, Chilwell, and Toton. Nominations can be made for projects completed between June 2023 and June 2025. There will be 3 category awards ● Beeston Character – adding to our area with good design ● Climate + Sustainability – reducing carbon emissions ● Streets + Public Spaces – making Beeston a more pleasant place to live and work There will also be an overall Winner, a People’s Choice award (voted by the general public) and a primary schools’ competition with children putting forward their ‘dream’ building. An independent judging panel of design experts and specialist professionals has been set up.
