Description

Sometimes what you see is not what you get… The shape shifter is either born or transformed by some magical force. Transmogrifying humans; old ladies with animalistic tendencies, feral lovers, protective mothers, Loogaroos with sly eyes – this is a night of transformations. These stories are sometimes frightening, always fascinating and a total body experience. Jan Blake is a storyteller, consultant, mentor & plenary speaker who has been performing world-wide since 1986. Born in Manchester, UK to Jamaican parents, Jan specialises in folktales and myths from the Caribbean, West Africa, North Africa, and the Arab regions. Also featuring music, tales from your hosts, fun and frolics!
