Friday 18 Live Music Performance

FREE live music will be on offer in Beeston town centre over the summer showcasing local artists and performers. A fantastic opportunity to support local artists, before heading to one of Beeston's fantastic pubs and restaurants! Friday18 offers an hour of live music from 18.00hrs, every Friday from 20 June to 8 August in Beeston Square.

Kicking off this year's event on Friday 20 June will be singer songwriter Joshua Todd. Also performing this year includes:

• 27 June - singer song writer Simran Johal
• 4 July - 5 piece band Anteloup
• 11 July - electric pop Lucy Crisp
• 18 July - 3 piece swing band Swing Chickens
• 25 July - 5 piece acoustic roots band Higgs Bo’sun
• 1 August - youth jazz ensemble Roundabout Jazz 
• 8 August - Klezmer Tanz and Slow Train (this finale event will last for two hours)

Why not be environmentally friendly and walk, cycle, take the bus or the tram to the events! The event is located near to the Beeston tram stop and bus interchange. Friday18 is an event which has developed through the Council's partnership with the German town of Gutersloh.
