Re-Valuations & Appeals

The Valuation Office Agency re-assesses all business properties and you have the right to appeal.

Re-Valuation

The Valuation Office Agency periodically re-assesses the rateable value of all business properties within England based on rental values to reflect the changes in the property market across the Country. This can mean some business rates will rise and some will fall.

The last revaluation took effect from 1 April 2023. The next revaluation is due to come into force on 1 April 2026.
