Get ready for a day of excitement and entertainment at the Greasley Gathering, 10.30-3pm on Monday, May 27th, 2024, held at the Greasley Sports and Community Centre, Newthorpe, NG16 3QN! For the 9th annual Greasley Gathering, we're thrilled to extend a warm invitation to families, visitors and classic car owners to be a part of this fantastic family-friendly event. Here's what you can expect: Family Fun Activities: Enjoy a variety of entertainment options suitable for all ages, including live performances, interactive games, face painting, and much more. Delicious Food: Indulge your taste buds with an assortment of mouthwatering food options available throughout the day. From savory treats to sweet delights, there's something to satisfy every craving. Free Vintage Red Bus Tours: The signature double decker 'Red Buses' will be picking up guests and ferrying our visitors from Watnall, through Newthorpe, to Giltbrook, and back again - making various stop along the way. These stops will include local pubs, parks and churches who all embrace the spirit of the day with their own special events or entertainment. Exciting Rides: Let the kids embark on a whirlwind of excitement with an array of thrilling rides and attractions designed just for them. Community Spirit: Connect with local people, providers and car enthusiasts in a vibrant atmosphere filled with camaraderie and shared passion. Stalls include local craftspeople, charities and community groups, who have all come together to make the day special.
