Description

Our final Green Festival of the year will take place on Saturday 24th September at Hall Om Wong Open Space in Kimberley. This year's festivals have all been well attended and Broxtowe residents have learned strategies to reduce their carbon footprint in ways that are interactive and educational. Together we are working to create a greener Broxtowe through our festivals and reach our goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2027.

The Green Festival is a fantastic way for residents and their families to find out how they can contribute towards the Borough’s climate change agenda. Each event features interactive managed stalls showcasing what people are doing locally to tackle climate change and protect our green spaces. Visitors will be able to learn from leading experts about Recycling, Composting, Climate Change, Wild flowers, Biodiversity and so much more! All the events are free to attend.
