As part of our summer of beautiful breads series here at Pippley Cookery School, we're hosting a Scandinavian Baking class taught by expert guest baker Steve Daniels from I Like It Bakery. In this class you’ll be learning how to bake Cardamom & Cinnamon Buns, Rye Bread & Nordic Crackers. Roll up your sleeves and dig in as we teach you how to grow your dough. Midday will be a seasonal picnic and cold drinks on the lawn. Then a guided tour of our pantry and kitchen gardens with our head gardener as we are approaching the full bloom of summer. Back to bread making in the afternoon, where you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions. Bagging up your legendary loafs to take home when the day ends around 3pm. What’s Included: Lunch & Refreshments On site free parking Apron, all cooking utensils and ingredients Pippley Walled Garden tour with our head gardener What you’ll need to bring: A pen and paper to take notes Wear clothing you don’t mind getting mucky (easy roll up sleeves) Our bread making classes in Nottingham are suitable for ages 16 and over. Children from 12-15 are very welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult also participating in the course. Wheelchair friendly site. Guide dogs welcome.Venue
