Reducing your carbon footprint - community, business, schools

Advice for local schools, businesses and communities on reducing their carbon footprint.

Sustainability Support for Schools

Broxtowe Borough Council is currently offering SEED funding of £200 for up to three secondary schools within the Borough to use towards an environmental focused project within the grounds of the school.  This could be creation of an allotment, installation of bird or bat boxes, litter picking kits or tree planting.

For more information on this email the Climate Change Manager at environment@broxtowe.gov.uk

In addition to this your school can also request a visit from our Waste and Recycling Engagement Officer and Refuse Team.

Other funding and resource support is available for both primary and secondary schools via the following webpages:

Together with our local partners, we're working to support small businesses in Broxtowe with resources, events and support to help them on their journey to net zero.
