Considers information around performance and complaints to recommend service improvements.  Also support delivery of Housing engagement activities.

Bimonthly daytime meeting

Scrutiny Panel

Undertake scrutiny (service) reviews of a service area, or part of and make recommendations for service improvements

Aim to compete two Service reviews a year

Housing Complaints Panel

The group look at how Housing complaints are handled and share recommendations and feedback to improve the complaints service

Claim Expenses

The Housing Department recognises the positive contribution that individual engaged customers make in developing Housing services; and is committed to ensuring that any customer involved with developing Housing services is able to participate without being financially disadvantaged.

What can be claimed?

  • Travel expenses - for example car parking, mileage and public transport
  • Carer Expenses 
  • Support Expenses

  • Housing have an account with a local taxi firm and happy to book a taxi for you if you would like to attend one of our engagement activities.
