Former Beamlight Factory – Article 4 Direction
The Council has confirmed a ‘Direction’ that removes certain permitted development rights for properties on the former Beamlight Factory.
Under permitted development rights, a planning application is often not needed to build certain extensions, porches and outbuildings. The effect of the Direction is that, within the specified area, a planning application is needed for those types of development.
