Submission Version

The Broxtowe Part 2 Local Plan has been submitted to the Secretary of State to be examined by an independent planning inspector.

The Submission Version of the plan was the subject of discussion at the Jobs and Economy Committee on the 16th July 2018 and a Full Council meeting on the 18th July 2018. The recommendation for both of the meetings was to submit the Plan to the Secretary of State. The Plan has been amended following the consideration of representations made to the consultation on the Publication Version which closed in November 2017. The Part 2 Local Plan allocates specific sites to meet the development requirements set out in the Aligned Core Strategy and details further policies against which future planning applications will be assessed.
