Council deeply saddened following the death of a tenant
17/7/25 - Broxtowe Borough Council has shared its sincere condolences with the family of a women who died following a fire at The Lilacs in Beeston on Saturday.
Councillor Vanessa Smith, Portfolio Holder for Housing said:
The Council is deeply saddened to hear of the death of Mrs Wilkinson following a fire at The Lilacs in Beeston on Saturday.
On behalf of the Council, I send my sincere condolences to her family during this difficult time.
We are continuing to support all those affected by the fire, including with housing and other practical needs.
