Broxtowe Councillors to formally agree Council's position on Local Government Reorganisation
19/10/2025 - On Wednesday 26 November, Full Council will debate the three proposals for local government reoorganisation (LGR) in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and make a recommendation to Cabinet about how Broxtowe should proceed.
On Thursday 27 November, the Cabinet will meet to confirm Broxtowe’s position on LGR, with their final decision being submitted to Government on Friday 28 November.
Regardless of the outcome, Broxtowe’s submission will include a Potential Impacts Analysis which outlines the potential impacts of LGR on Broxtowe residents.
