Council to join Oxjam Beeston 2025 with CCity stage
A firm favourite among residents from Beeston, Broxtowe and beyond, Oxjam Beeston brings 12 hours of live music to the town across 20 venues, with 150 artists!
Full CCity stage lineup:

- 1:25pm – 1:55pm – Marysia (Mary) Trętkiewicz.

Since the inaugural festival in 2011, Oxjam Beeston has raised over £250,000 for various local causes and Oxfam GB. 2024’s festival raised a record-breaking £32,019 for Middle Street Resource Centre, Hope Nottingham, and Oxfam GB.
This year’s festival will be supporting local charities Middle Street Resource Centre and Broxtowe Youth Homelessness, in addition to Oxfam GB.
The CCity stage lineup includes 2 artists from Grudziądz, Poland, a city that forms part of the CCity partnership. Marysia (Mary) Trętkiewicz is a talented young musician who has been writing her own music and lyrics since 2020. Having recently release her debut LP, she brings her brilliance to Oxjam Beeston for a very special performance. Following Marysia, the award winning Tomasz Gust takes to the stage, known as one of Northern Poland’s best pianists.
The C-City concept is focused around the idea that sharing culture is key to European cooperation. The project provides a platform with which to showcase Broxtowe’s existing cultural offer and for those in the community to exchange ideas and practices with the other cities involved, including Chateroux (France), Falun (Sweden), Grudziądz (Poland), and Gütersloh (Germany).
Tickets are available to purchase online here, or in person at the Oxfam Books and Music at 58 High Road, Beeston.
Portfolio Holder for Health and Leisure, Councillor Teresa Cullen, said, “Oxjam is always such a fantastic day and is always eagerly anticipated by those near and far. We’re delighted that we can be involved in such a wonderful project again this year with our CCity stage, kicking off 2025’s festival. Last year saw the festival raise their biggest total yet, hopefully we can better that this year!”
