Final Beeston Square Redevelopment unit filled as Glass Orchid expand
Opening to the public on Wednesday 25 February, the new Glass & Co. brings a new Italian-influenced experience to Beeston Town Centre. The expanded venue includes a centralised, multi-functional bar and the introduction of a mezzanine area, creating a welcoming fine-dining atmosphere in the heart of the town.
Portfolio Holder for Asset Management and Development, Councillor Milan Radulovic MBE, said, “Our redevelopment of Beeston Square has given Beeston Town Centre such a great lift and makes the town a wonderful place to live, shop, socialise, eat and drink. The expansion of Glass Orchid into the neighbouring unit highlights how Beeston High Street is flourishing, particularly around the redevelopment.
“Completing the let of the final vacant unit reflects our efforts to encourage local business in Broxtowe, and improving the visitor offer for our residents.”
Glass & Co. owner, Ronnie, said, “I am excited to introduce a fresh, multi‑functional space to Beeston – one that complements the ongoing regeneration of the high street and The Square. Beeston is rapidly becoming a thriving suburb and a vibrant hub for both local residents and visitors to the area.”
Glass and Co.’s expansion follows the recent opening of We Fix Feet close by, who filled the last remaining unit in the Council owned building that was once filled by Argos, demonstrating the Council’s commitment to keeping Broxtowe’s high streets thriving.
The Beeston Square Redevelopment formed part of the Council’s £50 million long-term commitment to boost Beeston Town Centre.
