Join one of our Wilder Welcome volunteers for a free guided walk to learn more about our reserve and its wildlife. Discover our history and hopes for the future whilst taking in spectacular views.

About the event Discover our history and hopes for the future whilst taking in spectacular views. This walk will start at the apron* and head over the bridge to follow the circular Tufted Duck route. It is 3km/1.9m and suitable for those with wheelchairs, prams, motorised scooters, etc. The walk starts and ends outside our Nature Centre, which has a café, shop, toilet and baby changing facilities and our newly developed accessible Nature Garden with Sand Martin bird hide. Please visit https://www.nottinghamshirewildlife.org/events to book, but spaces are limited to 10 per walk, so please let us know if you can't make it as we will likely have a waiting list. *The apron is the place between the car park and the Nature Centre with the picnic benches.
