Description

Cossall Open Gardens, a beloved community event, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The event invites visitors to explore a variety of beautiful gardens throughout Cossall Village, including the peaceful grounds of St. Catherine’s Church. A highlight this year is a newly featured garden on Church Lane, which has recently undergone a major landscaping renovation. In addition to the gardens, visitors can enjoy a range of craft stalls and refreshments. Tea and cakes will be served in The Old School Room, with additional refreshments available at several garden locations. Proceeds will support local events and charitable causes, including The Children’s Bereavement Centre and Doctors Without Borders. £5.00 adults, accompanied under 16s free. Tickets are available from the car park entrance (contactless payment is accepted), selected participating gardens, and opposite the Old School Room.

Cossall Village, NG162RW Directions / Parking From the A610: Follow signs to Ilkeston. At the island, go straight ahead towards Awsworth. Gardens begin along Church Lane and continue onto Robinettes Lane, Cossall. Look out for event signage as you enter the village. From Nottingham: Head towards Trowell, then turn right just before the village onto Cossall Road. Follow signs to the large car parks on the main road through Cossall. Two large car parks will be available in the centre of the village. Visitors may also park along Awsworth Lane or at Trinity Farm.
