Nature discovery Day

At Toton Fields LNR we will be looking out for wildlife and learning about the site. There will be stalls/displays/games present from local wildlife groups. Activities on the day include pond dipping, bug hunts, join experts to find flora and fauna.

Description

On Sunday 13th July, 10am- 2pm, we are hosting a Nature Discovery Day at our Toton Fields Local Nature Reserve (LNR) site in partnership with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. This is a free event available to all to come along and learn about their local greenspace and contribute to recording the wildlife found there. There will be several stalls put on by local wildlife groups such as Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, Nottinghamshire Bat Group, ArachNotts and many more where people can interact with activities and learn about wildlife. There will be activities throughout the day such as pond dipping, bug hunts and opportunities to join experts to identify flora and fauna.
