Remembrance Parade & Service

Description

Join members of the Stapleford community for their annual event, as they remember their fallen soldiers and others affected by war. And show their support for our armed forces. There will be a Parade and a Service. The public and dignitaries will gather at 10.30/10.45. Parade sets off at approx 10.50am from Halls Rd. The Service is held in Walter Parker Square at 11am. At 11.20am poppy wreaths are laid at the war memorial in Walter Parker Square, dignitaries and armed services followed by community groups and individuals as the parade leaves the square. A QR code to access the programme will be available on signs on lampposts and printed copies are also available along the parade route.
