Willow Craft Series: Living Willow Wreath Workshop

About the event Create a stunning living wreath using sustainably sourced willow and decorate with a variety of seasonal foliage. In this 2.5-hour workshop, our experienced facilitator will guide you through the weaving technique to create a willow base you can re-use for years to come. You’ll learn how to choose, arrange and attach foliage and decorations to your base in order to achieve your desired look, from minimalist to bursting with spring joy. We provide all the willow, foliage and tools (such as secateurs and gloves) needed to create your wreath, as well as a variety of decorative accessories. Our facilitator will be on hand throughout to answer queries, provide support or inspiration. You are welcome to bring along any of your own tools or materials if you wish. The workshop takes place in our Community Room, a private space to the rear of the centre, with beautiful views over the water. The cost of the ticket also includes refreshments and cake.
