Join us at Pippley Cookery School for our Autumn Chutneys & Jam Cooking Class here in Nottingham. A wholesome day of foraging with our gardeners and learning how to make the most delicious chutneys and juicy jams with our chefs. You’ll start your day at your work stations making your own chutneys and jams with the guidance of our chef, ready to take home later in the day. While the jams are bubbling down, tuck into your autumnally themed bagel selection and soup for lunch. Then wrap up warm and join our garden team on a foraging tour to help with our autumn harvest. They’ll be teaching you what works when making your own chutneys and jams at home. You’ll be taking home your jars of chutneys & jams, and recipe sheets to follow in your own kitchen. What’s included Lunch & Refreshments On site free parking Apron, all cooking utensils and ingredients Recipe sheet to take home with you Pippley Walled Garden tour with our head gardener What you’ll need to bring A pen and paper to take notes Wear clothing you don’t mind getting mucky (easy roll up sleeves) Suitable footwear for a muddy forage Raincoat (just in case) Our Autumn Chutneys & Jam cooking class in Nottingham suitable for ages 16 and over. Children from 12-15 are very welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult also participating in the course. Wheelchair friendly site. Guide dogs welcome.Venue
