Beeston Incubator Hub

The hub, on the corner of Station Road in Beeston Town Centre, provides new and expanding businesses that want to grow but may not be able to afford full rent, with desk space and a base to work from.

Trevor Woolery of Create AnimateCreate Animate

Trevor Woolery owns Create Animate, a creative company who train people in transformative creative thinking and creative tools. He has rented space in Beeston Business Hub since December 2018.

Trevor Says: "The Hub is fantastic, it gives you all you need at an affordable price."

“I originally tried to work from home, but interruptions by my family made it difficult to concentrate. The Hub has provided me with an affordable space to focus on my business at more than half the price I previously paid when I rented space in the centre of Nottingham."

"The space is a generous size and I love the location in Beeston, surrounded by cafés and shops, as well as having the Post Office and banks nearby too. I chose Beeston Business Hub as I liked the idea of being around other businesses who are on a similar journey to me. Starting a business can be challenging at times and having a business neighbour to share experiences with has helped so much.”

Broxtowe Start-Up Grant Scheme

Last year, the Council launched a Business Start-Up Grant to help new businesses with start-up costs.

“The grant has provided significant financial support to ensure I could invest in areas that I may not have been able to otherwise, including the cost of printed marketing materials, business cards, flyers and an exhibition banner, as well as online Client Relationship Management software.”
