Christmas Light Switch On's

Broxtowe's Christmas Light Switch On events are some of the most popular events in the Broxtowe calendar, and are a fantastic way to welcome in the festive period with the Broxtowe community.

This year we'll have:

• Christmas markets
• Fairgrounds rides
• Food vendors
• Santa's grotto
• Street entertainment
• live music
• And much more!

Our event dates for 2025 are: 

•    Beeston – Saturday 15 November 12:00pm – 7:00pm, Beeston Square (NG9 2JG)
  o    12:00pm – 7:00pm – Christmas Market & Festive Fairground
  o    1:00pm – 5:00pm – Santa’s Grotto at Beeston Library
  o    1:00pm – 2:00pm pre-booked accessible session; 2:00 – 5:00pm general admission
  o    4:30pm – 7:00pm – Live Entertainment 
  o    5:30pm – Lights Switch On 
  o    6:30pm – Fireworks!

•  Eastwood – Saturday 22 November 3:30pm – 7:00pm - new for 2025 the event will be at the weekend to allow more time for festivities!
  o    3:30pm – 7:00pm – Christmas Market
  o    4:30pm – 7:00pm Festive Fairground
  o    3.30pm – 6:30pm – Santa’s Grotto at The D.H Lawrence Birthplace Museum; 3:30pm – 4:30pm pre-booked accessible session; 4:30 – 6:30pm general admission
  o    4;30pm – 7:00pm – Live Entertainment  
  o    5:30pm – Lights Switch On 
  o    6:30pm – Fireworks!

• Stapleford – Saturday 29 November 1:00 – 7:00pm, Walter Parker VC Memorial Square (NG9 7AR) & Derby Road Central Car Park (NG9 7AS) 
  o    1:00pm – 6:30pm – Christmas Market & Festive Fairground
  o    1:00pm – 4:30pm – Santa’s Grotto at Conservative Club; 1:00pm – 2:00pm pre-booked accessible session; 2:00pm – 4:30pm general admission
  o    4:30pm – 7:00pm – Live Entertainment at Derby Road Central Car Park
  o    5:30pm – Lights Switch On (Walter Parker Square V.C Memorial Square)
  o    7:00pm – Finale Fireworks (Walter Parker Square V.C Memorial Square) 

• Kimberley’s – Friday 21 November, 4:30pm – 9:00pm, Toll Bar Square and Victoria Street Car Park (NG16 2NJ).
