The Football Association has confirmed that ‘non-elite’ Grass roots football in England will be suspended from Thursday 5 November 2020 until Wednesday 2 December 2020 following the UK Government’s announcement on new national COVID-19 restrictions.
We realise that re-starting football has taken substantial determination and commitment from all the clubs. However, health and wellbeing remain the priority, so it is extremely important that clubs, players, coaches, match officials, league officials, volunteers, parents and carers adhere to the UK Government’s new national COVID-19 restrictions during this period.
As and when we receive further information we will communicate this to clubs.
If you would like to hire a pavilion, park or recreation ground for an event, please contact the Parks and Environment Team.
