Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG)
Nottinghamshire County Council, in liaison with Broxtowe and the other Nottinghamshire authorities, has published a Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS).
The Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) will help to reverse the decline of nature in the county and help to deliver Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) locally. Further information is available from Nottinghamshire County Council's website.
There is also this informative video (Opens in a New Window) with a quick 3-minute explanation about the LNRS.
The Nottinghamshire authorities, in partnership with the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, Natural England and others, have also produced a Biodiversity Net Gain Framework(.pdf)(1.2MB)(Opens in New Window) (Opens in a New Window).
