About the event KERSTIN - Hello, I'm Kerstin Kerr, a local wildlife artist. I've always loved and been passionate about animals and the environment we share. As an artist its too easy to find endless inspiration just by spending time outdoors. My aim is to share the beauty of wildlife with you through my paintings. My favourite mediums are watercolour, acrylic and felt. All paintings are original pieces created with love and professional quality materials. I hope you enjoy my creations. PAT - I trained as a textile designer and spent a few years as a fabric designer, followed by a career as a lace designer. I have always had an interest in painting, and in recent years have developed a great love for watercolours. I am especially interested in portraying nature and landscapes that suggest a mood or atmosphere, some based on places I have visited and others from imagination. I am inspired by the beautiful colours, textures and patterns found in the natural world. I love to experiment and enjoy using mixed media techniques, that include mono printing, collage and textile work.
