C68 ICT Senior Technical Officer

Salary: £41,791 - £43,743 Full-Time Grade 12

We are seeking an experienced ICT professional to join our ICT Services team. The challenge facing you will be to deliver services across a wide range of business areas supporting a diverse array of applications. Security and standards are key as is the drive to deliver economic, efficient and effective solutions for our customers.

You will have a wide range of experience in all aspects of an ICT service. You will have a broad range of high level interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively and having proven experience of creating and maintaining customer relationships. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent diagnostic skills and an advanced technical understanding of security, server and network technologies in a modern ICT environment to ITIL good practice standards.

You will be educated to degree level or have relevant experience. You must be able to demonstrate how you have managed the delivery of highly technical projects.

A flexible and strongly customer focused approach that consistently demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude is required; with the ability to communicate clearly with customers in a language they understand is essential.
