RIDEWISE- Wellbeing Walks

Step into Spring with our Stapleford Wellbeing Walks! Looking for a friendly way to get active and meet new people? Come and join us for two relaxed community walks designed for all abilities. These sessions are part of the Walk Notts May Festival and are a great way to enjoy the local area at a gentle pace. Each session includes a one-hour social walk followed by a 30-minute café stop. We are pleased to announce that thanks to project funding, refreshments are provided for free for all participants, Whether you come on your own or with a friend, you’ll be warmly welcomed. Dates and Meeting Points: Saturday 9th May, 10:00 am: Meeting at the Memorial Garden (NG9 7AR). We’ll walk to Bardill’s Garden Centre and back. Saturday 23rd May, 10:00 am: Meeting at the Ilkeston Road Car Park (by the RideWise bike container). We’ll walk to Trowell Garden Centre and back. Event Highlights: Gentle Pace: These are social walks focusing on wellbeing and conversation. Free Refreshments: A hot drink and a chat on us. No Booking Needed: There is no need to sign up in advance. Just turn up a few minutes before 10:00 am ready to go! It’s all about enjoying the outdoors, improving wellbeing, and great company. We look forward to seeing you there!

Stapleford Memorial Garden & Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground Please note we have two different meeting points for these walks: Saturday 9th May: Meet at the Memorial Garden, Nottingham Road, Stapleford, NG9 7AR. Saturday 23rd May: Meet at the Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground Car Park (by the RideWise bike container), NG9 8JL. Both walks start promptly at 10:00 am.
