What is Damp and Mould?
Damp is excess moisture (e.g. condensation or leaks). Mould grows on damp surfaces and may appear as black or green patches. It can affect your home and your health.
Report Damp and Mould
There are a number of ways for you to report Damp and Mould.

What we Will do
An initial assessment will be completed as soon as the potential hazard has been reported.
Any emergency work is to be completed within 24 hours of the potential hazard being reported.
Any significant work will be completed within 5 working days of the investigation being completed.
Any further supplementary works that are required will be finished within 12 weeks of the investigation being completed.
Details when Reporting Damp and Mould
When reporting Damp and Mold, it is important that you help the Repairs Team to provide an efficient service by supplying as much detail as possible. Please try to include:
- The address of the property
- Your name and whether you are the tenant of the property
- Times you will be at home, even if the work required is outside the property
- If you would prefer a morning or afternoon appointment
- Contact number
- Specific details of the Damp and Mould repair you are requesting
If possible, please include photographs of the damp and mould. Providing this information will help with the diagnosis and speed of the issue.
