Hemlock Happening: Broxtowe’s flagship event is back for 2026!
LickSquid are our headline act this year playing us out into the night with support from Money Talks, Anteloup, Slow Train, Cranberry Flick, Nottingham Concert Band and Nottingham Rock Choir.
Enjoy the food, fairground and dance into the night with free live music, or cool off, relax and browse the selection of stalls with a drink from Gladstonian Mobile Bar and Events. Don’t miss the firework finale at 10:30pm, it’s set to be spectacular.
The Hemlock Happening will take place on Saturday 6 June 2026, 1:00pm – 10:30pm at Bramcote Hills Park, Bramcote, Nottingham NG9 3JT.
What to expect:
- Main stage acts performing music through the decades, from present day hits to rhythm and blues classics.
- A licensed bar provided by Gladstonian Mobile Bar and Events, our silver event sponsor.
- Food vendors and drink stalls.
- An array of craft and trade stalls.
- Sports activities, fairground rides and inflatable fun.
- Community stalls.
- Climbing walls.
- The Performance Arena showcasing a host of talent from local dance organisations and clubs.
- Team Falchion battlefield reenactors.
- Green Zone with games and recycled crafts promoting environmental protection initiatives.
- Firework finale.

Portfolio Holder for Health and Leisure, Councillor Teresa Cullen, said, “The Hemlock Happening is, and has been for many years, a staple in resident’s calendars, attracting over 9,000 visitors.
“With free entry, free live music and performances, and plenty of free activities on the day, the event provides people with the opportunity to come together as a community and enjoy a fantastic day out with family and friends for little to no cost.”
“Every time I’ve been, it’s been so wonderful to see people dancing, smiling and laughing with each other, and I expect this year to be no different – a true community celebration for all!”
Parking is available on site for Blue Badge holders only. Free event parking is available at Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground, Stapleford NG9 8JL, please avoid parking on residential streets. Residents are also encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport to our events.
