Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Health, Councillor Teresa Cullen said, “I’m delighted to bring Friday18 back to both Kimberley and Beeston this year. Kimberley’s successful launch last year brought the community out to pubs across the town supporting local musicians and the economy. I’m excited to see it return and once again offer residents great and free live music to kick start the weekend with.”
Friday18 is an event which has developed through the Council's C-City partnership with the German town of Gutersloh.
