Exhibitions
Voices of Strength
22 January till 28 February - Free to visit during the museum's regular opening hours
An exhibition that centres the voices of women who have experienced domestic and gender-based abuse. It brings together creative writing and photography developed through two projects connected to Broxtowe Women's Project. The exhibition includes written pieces by BWP participants in response to 'Asking for It', a photographic series by Jayne Jackson, with portraits taken by Jackson during the creative sessions. It also features selected pieces from Nottingham Speaks Up, a White Ribbon-linked project encouraging people to speak out about abuse.
Exhibit in our space
We host an exciting programme of ever changing exhibitions in our Gallery Space. We love to promote our local community so if your group has an exhibition that you think would work well in our Gallery Space please contact us.
