Parks and Play Strategy Consultation

Broxtowe Borough Council is refreshing its Parks and Play Strategy to guide the future development, management and improvement of parks and play spaces across the Borough.
  Key information
Closing date Wednesday 30 September 2026
How to take part

The existing strategy (2017–2025) has delivered significant improvements; however, changing community needs, increased expectations around accessibility and inclusivity, and a growing focus on health, wellbeing and environmental sustainability mean that a refreshed approach is needed.

The new strategy will provide a clear framework to improve the quality, accessibility and resilience of our parks and play spaces, ensuring they continue to meet the needs of residents now and in the future. It will also help shape investment priorities and support the delivery of inclusive, safe and engaging spaces across Broxtowe.

This questionnaire forms part of the public consultation on the current draft strategy. The consultation will run from 22 July 2026 to 30 September 2026. You can take part by completing the survey online using the following link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/parksandplaystrategy (Opens in a new window). Alternatively, you can fill in a paper copy and return it to the Council using the pre-paid envelope provided.

Paper copies of the consultation are available at:

  • Beeston Council Offices
  • Bramcote Leisure Centre

Your views will help shape and guide investment, into the Borough’s Parks and Play areas. Thank you for your support.
