Beeston Summer Fete returns for 2026 with a We Love Beeston Carnival Parade

11/06/2026 - Following the success of its inaugural launch last year, the highly anticipated Beeston Summer Fete is returning for a second year.

This year’s festivities will kick off with the return of the high-energy, community, carnival parade that will set off from Roundhill School, through the Beeston high street through to the park. Look out for drummers, stilt walkers, banners and bubbles as the We Love Beeston parade makes its way through town!

The official theme of the parade ‘We Love Beeston’ showcases and celebrates the wonderfully diverse and inclusive community that makes the town so unique, showcasing the best of Broxtowe.

The event is full of activities to help entertain all the family with:

  • Live entertainment on the main stage
  • Face painting
  • African Arts and Crafts
  • Hula hoop, bubble and balloon workshops
  • Community stalls
  • Circus skills
  • Drumming workshops
  • Fair rides
  • Dog show
  • Beeston’s Got Talent
  • Food and drink
  • Trade stalls

For those wanting to enter the dog show just turn up with your dogs at 12.00pm. If residents want to be in with a chance of being crowned the Beeston’s Got Talent Winner, enter by submitting your details and talent through the online form. Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Health, Councillor Teresa Cullen said, ‘I’m so excited that Beeston Summer Fete is returning to Broadgate Park this year.
