Attenborough is holding its 2026 Scarecrow Festival on Saturday 26th/Sunday 27th September. HQ will be at the Attenborough Village Hall. This year’s theme is in honour of 100 Years of David Attenborough and his Wildlife Programs. That should give plenty of scope for people’s imagination! As ever scarecrows will be placed around the village, with maps costing £2 available at the Village Hall, The Bird Hide Micro Pub and the Long Lane Bistro. Visitors can vote for their favourite Scarecrow, with the winners getting a prize. There will be a number of stalls around including food. All marked on the maps! Any money raised will be going to local charities. If you live in Attenborough then why not enter your own scarecrow!!!
