Christmas Comes to Broxtowe with Light Switch On Events

The Christmas countdown begins in Broxtowe as Christmas markets, a wide variety of lively street entertainment, great live music, and a selection of food stalls will join Santa Claus in welcoming families from across the Borough to each town’s Christmas Lights Switch On events this November and December.

“Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year, and it’s always wonderful to see so many within the community come out to enjoy this time together,” said Portfolio Holder for Health and Leisure, Councillor Teresa Cullen. “We know families can feel the pinch at Christmas so we’re really proud that we can provide a low-cost family day out at our events, and I look forward to seeing everyone sharing in the festive joy of the season again this year.”
