This event follows a previous 3 other popular and successful Fun Days in Nuthall, Eastwood and Chilwell earlier this year.
Portfolio Holder for Health and Leisure, Councillor Teresa Cullen, said, "It’s been brilliant to see so many people across Broxtowe enjoying these free to attend Fun Day events this year, and I’m excited to be bringing the next to Stapleford in October.”
“These events provide a great way to keep kids entertained and engaged outside of school, and I’m really proud that we’re able to provide them to residents for free. I’d also like to thank GEDA for their support in sponsoring the event, which has enabled us to provide meal vouchers for the children, and Stapleford Town Council for financially supporting the event, as well as the other partners we have worked with to make the event happen.”
Residents are encouraged to walk, cycle, or take public transport to these events. If you’re driving to this event, please be considerate to the local residents when parking. The on site car park will be for drop offs, pick ups, and Blue Badge holder only parking
