Help us redesign Walter Parker VC Memorial Square!
We’re reimagining the Square for everyone in Stapleford and want to hear your views.
A number of designs have been developed that:

  • Protect and enhance the space around the War Memorial and Walter Parker VC Memorial Stone
  • Create a flexible and welcoming public space for markets, events, remembrance and everyday use
  • Improve accessibility and make it easier for everyone to move around the square
  • Review how the bus shelter and other street furniture contributes to the space
  • Explore ways to introduce more greenery, shade and opportunities to sit and spend time in the square
  • Ensure the design reflects the priorities and aspirations of the local community

View the design proposals, ask the project team questions and give your feedback in person at the Square on two dates in October:

  • Wednesday14 October, 11:00am - 2:00pm
  • Saturday 17 October, 11:00am - 2:00pm
