Post Ref: T96b - Repairs and Compliance Scheduler

Salary: £27,787 - £29,255 – Grade 5. Full time 37 hours per week

We are looking for a Repairs Scheduler to join our Housing Repairs Team. This is a key role within the service, ensuring that repairs are scheduled efficiently and delivered to our tenants in a timely manner. You'll work closely with a small, supportive Scheduling Team, alongside our Repairs Customer Service Officers, in a fast-paced environment.

Your day will be spent scheduling appointments for larger repairs, coordinating diaries for our in-house Operatives and external contractors, and ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet service demands. You will play a vital role in helping us deliver an excellent repairs service by balancing priorities, responding to changing circumstances, and keeping customers informed throughout the repairs process.

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and thrives in a busy customer-focused environment. You will have excellent communication skills, be confident working with a range of stakeholders, and have the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You will enjoy problem solving, be comfortable using a variety of IT systems, and have a positive, flexible approach to work. Experience of scheduling appointments, planning workloads or working within a repairs, housing or customer service environment would be beneficial, although we are equally interested in candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

We’re looking for an individual who has experience in:

  • Scheduling appointments, workloads or resources in a busy operational environment.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Working with IT systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing competing priorities and responding to changing demands
  • Co-ordinating work with internal Operatives, Contractors and Tenants
  • Working in a housing repairs, maintenance or local government or similar service environment.

The ideal candidate would be:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure
  • Proactive, adaptable and able to solve problems effectively
  • Someone who represents our GREAT values and behaviours
