UKSPF 2025/26 Broxtowe Skills and Training Fund

Broxtowe Borough Council is inviting grant applications from residents and businesses for funding to support courses and training within the People and Skills theme. 

The Broxtowe Skills & Training Fund aims to remove financial barriers by offering targeted support to residents and small businesses across the borough. It enables individuals to upskill or retrain in their chosen career path and helps businesses invest in workforce development to strengthen growth and resilience.

The fund is delivered by Broxtowe Borough Council, and is funded by UK Shared Prosperity Funding from the UK Government allocated by the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA).

Timeline:

• Application window 12 November 2025 - 7 December 2025.
• Successful applicants notified by 22 December 2025.
• Training complete and all grant funding claimed by 28 February 2026.

UKSPF Funding extended for 2025/26

UK Shared Prosperity Funding allocations to Borough Councils for 2025/26 has been confirmed by East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA). Funding will be allocated to projects being delivered within the three main themes of Supporting Business, Communities and Place, and People and Skills.
