What is NOT suitable to be reported as ASB
- The ASB you wish to report relates to activity which is lawfully undertaken by another party:
- You will be informed that the activity is lawful and no action can be taken under ASB legislation.
- The ASB you wish to report is a single incident or relates to incidents which are not ongoing or persistent:
- You will be informed that ASB need to be ongoing and persistent for action to be taken.
- The ASB you wish to report took place longer than 1 month ago:
- You will be informed that agencies are lawfully unable to take action where incidents are not currently affecting you.
- The ASB you wish to report is due to normal living activity:
- You will be advised to contact your GP or other health professional for support.
- The ASB you wish to report has already been reported to another agency and action has already been taken:
- You will be informed that action against an individual for an incident/s can only be taken once so where an action has already been taken by an agency further action can’t be taken.
- The ASB you wish to report is prejudicial, discriminatory, malicious, unreasonable, vexatious or frivolous:
- The case will be investigated and rejected however it may result in action being taken against you.
